Tiba Tempeh Creamy Rigatoni

Get ready to make this super tasty and creamy pasta recipe for dinner tonight! This dish is a magical blend of savoury Tiba Tempeh mince and tender rigatoni pasta, all swimming in a lusciously creamy sauce. It’s hearty, it’s comforting, and it’s about to be a new favourite on your dinner menu!

  • 1 Tiba Tempeh Plant-based Mince
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tin of butter beans, drained (400g)
  • 500ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp tamari soy sauce (15ml)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste (30g)
  • 1 tin tinned tomatoes (400g)
  • 1 tbsp Italian herbs
  • 200g rigatoni pasta
  • Fresh parsley to serve


  1. Heat up that pan of yours and get ready to sauté the onion and garlic until they’re golden brown. This is where the magic starts!
  2. Next, let’s make that creamy sauce. In a blender, combine the sautéed onion, garlic, butter beans, and vegetable stock. Blend until smooth. You’re basically a chef now.
  3. Back to the pan! Fry the Tiba Tempeh mince until it gets those beautifully caramelised edges we all love. Don’t forget to add a dash of tamari soy sauce for that extra flavour kick!
  4. Now, let’s bring it all together. Add the tomato paste, tinned tomatoes, Italian herbs, and the blended mix to the pan. Stir well until everything is combined and looks like it’s ready for a party.
  5. Time for the pasta! Add it to the pan and cook until it’s tender. Trust us, it’s worth the wait.
