Tiba Tempeh Satay Stir-Fry

Familiar, but fantastic.

Tempeh Satay Stir-Fry. This is one of our very first recipes that we made. Using just a few staple cupboard ingredients, veggies and ready in 10 minutes, it’s a surefire win for a delicious and nutritious midweek meal thrown together at the end of a long day. Using our soy-marinated tempeh pieces, the sticky peanut satay sauce makes this dish SO addictive! Tuck in.

Ingredients

Sauce ingredients

  • ½ tsp chilli flakes or 1 whole fresh chilli, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup or agave
  • 60ml water

Stir-fry ingredients

Method

  1. Combine all the sauce ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or pan, then add the Tiba Tempeh Soy Pieces and the stir-fry veggies. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the sauce to the cooked tempeh and veggies. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Cook the noodles in a separate pan as per pack instructions.
  5. Arrange in a bowl and serve with a sprinkle of toasted crushed peanuts, if using.
